On Oct. 6, 2014, the Rotary Club of Saginaw unveiled its 100th anniversary gift to Saginaw -- a mural timeline history in the atrium of TheDow Event Center, 303 Johnson. Measuring 30 feet wide and 13 feet high, it contains 31 phototgraphic images -- among them the Treaty of Saginaw, skating at Hoyt Park, water pumps before the pipline from Lake Huron was built, the lumber era, a steering gear, and lumbermen cutting a log.
