80 fifthgraders living in the Rotary District 6310 region were gobsmacked in January when they got to spend some quality time with one of their literary heroes.
Michigan author Johnathan Rand, who writes the “Michigan Chillers” and “American Chillers” books, was contracted by the district to conduct four two-hour writing sessions with the students. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to get feedback on their own writing and advice on how improve their stories.
Our club sponsored five students from Nouvel Catholic Central Schools. Two of them are pictured here with Rand.
